CORI APPROVALS & RENEWALS - Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

All Girl Scout Leaders & and all adult volunteers must be CORI approved.
ALL CORI approvals are good for 3 years.


Even if you have a CORI approval at an elementary school in town, YOU MUST be CORI approved for Girl Scouts.

Framingham Girl Scouts will be doing CORI approvals & RENEWALS on Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. at Plymouth Church.


Following, CORI approvals Framingham Girl Scouts will hold its first leader & adult volunteer meeting. Meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to stay!

LEADERS & ADULTS MUST BRING A DRIVER'S LICENSE or A PHOTO ID for CORI APPROVAL/RENEWAL.

Girl Scout Council of Eastern Massachusetts recently gave the Framingham Girl Scouts a list of those leaders & adult volunteers who are approved and not approved via CORI.

Council to Offer Outdoor Skills Day on Saturday, Oct. 16

Troop leaders and adult volunteers can register NOW for the 2nd Annual Outdoor Skills Day at Camp Wind in the Pines in Plymouth on Saturday, Oct 16.
Spend the day learning basic camping skills or attend enrichments focused on advanced cooking skills, outdoor games, campfire songs, nighttime activities and more!
Registration fee is $15 per person.

Thank You Day April 10 in Quincy

As a special thank you to our valued registered volunteers, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts Council will hold a 2nd Annual Thank You Day on saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Quincy.
The event is all about honoring and thanking volunteers for their service to GSEM and our girls. Come be enriched with activities and sessions just for you or learn something new to take back to the troop.
Sessions include: Bridging, Ceremonies, Level Workshops, etc.
Guest speakers, lunch & special surprises throughout the day are included! Pre-registration is required.
The cost to attend is $5 per volunteer, including lunch.
The registration deadline is roughly March 25.

Leader/Adult Volunteer First Aid Course Feb. 28 in Waltham

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is offering an American Red Cross First Aid Course on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
This course covers First Aid ONLY and can be taken by those who need first aid certification for the first time or to renew a Red Cross first aid certification.

Red Cross First Aid certification is valid for 3 years.

Anyone serving as a Girl Scout First Aider is required to be trained in both CPR & First Aid.
The program will be held in Waltham.

The fee is $25 per adult volunteer or leader.
