Saturday, November 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Old Sturbridge Village

It was in 1820 that Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was first published, thrilling audiences with its mystery, action, and horror! This ghoulish short story tells the tale of a Hessian soldier who comes back to haunt a small rural community while looking for the head that he lost during a Revolutionary War battle.
Learn about this tale and its time through storytelling, demonstrations and hands-on activities.
