Sundown Safari Program at Southwick's Zoo on Saturday night, May 15

Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts and Southwick's Zoo in Mendon is hosting a Sundown Safari for Cadette, Senior, & Ambassador Scouts on Saturday night from 6 to 8. Juliette Scouts in grades 6-12 may also register. This event is for Troops and individual Scouts. Troops must adhere to safety-wise rules. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult.
PROGRAM: Zoo staff will guide Scouts through an after-hours adventure. Go behind the scenes with an exciting tour that brings you up close and personal with many exotic species. Scouts will learn about the history of the zoo, captive versus wild environments, exhibit design, adaptations, animal behaviors, enrichment and healthy diets. Some of the animals that we'll focus on are: tortoises, giraffes, parrots, kangaroos, monkeys, chimps, white rhinos and large cats. Bring your flashlights!

Registration fee is $20 per Scout and $20 per leader or adult.
Registration will end on April 16 or when 80 Scouts have registered.
