Cinco de Mayo Daisy Program on May 2 in Waltham

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is offering a Cinco de Mayo event for Daisy Scouts at Camp Cedar Hill in Waltham from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 2.
Juliette Scouts in grades K & 1 may also register. Troops and individual Scouts can attend. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult.
Get Real. Vamanos! Learn some Spanish words and play some Mexican games. Make a craft to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
Adults are expected to help.
Registration fee is $10.50 per Scouts. Adults are free.
Registration deadline is about 2 weeks prior to the event, although space could fill up before that date.
To register, visit the GSEM Web site, click on programs, fill out the online registration form, and pre-pay with a credit card.

The event will be held at Camp Cedar Hill in Waltham.

Registration fee is $10.50 per Scout. Leaders and adults are free.
Registration ends roughly 2 weeks before the event, or when the maximum number of Scouts has been reached.

World Neighbors Badge Workshop on April 10 for Junior Scouts at the Heifer Learner Center at Overlook Farm

Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts Council and the Heifer Learning Center at Overlook Farm is offering a World Neighbors Badge workshop for Junior Scouts on Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Juliette Scouts in grades 4 & 5 may also register.
Program info: Your neighbors are not just the ones who live nearby. Your neighbors are also the people who live all over the globe. Learn about them as you work on some of the requirements to earn your World Neighbors Badge.
The program includes free time in the museum after the program.
Groups may bring a bag lunch and eat in a designated area in the museum.
An afternoon session will be added if the morning session fills.
Troops and Individual Scouts may register. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult.

Registration cost is $20 per Scout.

Registration will end when 15 Scouts have registered or on March 12.
