Junior Geocaching Workshop in Waltham on Saturday, Oct. 30

Nature Geocaching: GET GOING.
Try a different twist on geocaching, the popular GPS adventure activity. Using global positioning system devices and a few clues, girls will search for specific trees, rocks and natural objects to learn their stories.

When: Saturday, Oct 30, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Program Level: Junior and Juliette Scouts in grades 4 & 5
Where: Camp Cedar Hill, 265 Beaver Street, Waltham
Cost: $8 per Junior Scout.
Leaders & adult volunteers, per safety-wise rules, are FREE

Brownie Letterboxing Event in Waltham on Saturday, Oct. 30

Letterboxing.
GET GOING. This is an intro to a great outdoor sport! With maps and clues in hand, girls head off on an outdoor nature adventure, discovering boxes and collecting stamped images for their logbook.
Leaders & Adults are expected to help.

When: Saturday, Oct. 30 from noon to 2 p.m.
Program Level: Brownie and Juliettes in grades 2-3
Location: Camp Cedar Hill, 265 Beaver Street, Waltham
Cost; $8 per Scout. Leaders and safety-wise adult volunteers are free.
